Currey and Company Blue and White Optical Jar Set

The & Optical Tea Jar Set includes two lidded canisters with luminous rings running the circumference of the bottom, the top, and along each edge where the lid meets the jar. The electric pattern that dynamically crisscrosses the surface of each jar is painted by hand. Proving that these pieces are artisanal in their creation, the brushstrokes are evident in the pattern. Though these decorative jars were inspired by centuries-old designs made for the storage of tea leaves, they have a surprisingly contemporary feel.
